The spring on our oven broke. We called on a Tuesday within 24 hours (only because he had to order the part or he probably would have fixed it within a couple of hours) Steve was at our house, and the oven was fixed, and at a very reasonable cost. We highly recommend Five-star appliance repair. Great service, very professional, and a huge thank you!

Steve came out and helped fix my hotpoint dryer even though he doesn't usually work on that brand. He arrived early and gave me an excellent price. He was very nice and honest and will definitely recommend his services.

Called Five Star and spoke to Steve, Told him my washing machine was making a strange noise but no water coming or moving. After listening to the machine noise through the phone, Steve had me turn the dial a couple of times, lift the lid , press start and the dang thing started. He diagnosed problem over the phone, amazing. He is going to be my technician the next time I need any appliance repair.

Called and spoke with Steve about my dryer timer knob slipping. He asked for the model # which I gave him. He told me that it was common on my dryer for them to strip out and a replacement knob on Amazon would do the trick. Who knew? Thought I was looking at a replacement dryer! He solved my problem right over the phone. He earned my business on any appliance problems in the future. Kudos for excellent customer service! That goes a long way in this day and age.

This guy is fair and honest. He arrived when he said he would and told me it was not cost effective to fix my washer. I paid the reasonable show up fee and he gave me a detailed receipt.
Very prompt, courteous and reasonably priced.

The aluminum vent became disconnected when I pushed the dryer a few inches to the other side. I called many repair places close to me and none of them would come out to fix it. I was told I need to call a dryer vent cleaning service and to fix it myself. I don't have the strength to take the dryer out completely. A friend offered to help me but didn't show up. My last resort was to call Five Star and low and behold the gentleman said he would come out to fix it. The appointment was only 2 days after I made the call, he showed up around 8:15 am of the given window of 8 & 10 am. He called when he was on his way and he did not charge me for the labor only the service call fee. Thank you, Steve.

I called Steve, very polite and professional. My dishwasher was clogged and stinking up the place. He told me to check a couple of things. One being the drain trap on top of the sink. He was right! Problem fixed and didn’t cost me a thing. Old school service like it use to be. Thanks Steve!
