Really sad we moved to this county from another state trying to get electric on property it's been 2 weeks and we are getting no where . Whomever this Dwayne guy is he came out gave a estimate we went 2 times to pay and no one there knows what's going on we have the proposal paper work the lady said we need invoice but Dwayne said take these papers pay it so they can plan the work , this has to be the most horrible electric company ever. Not to mention we left several messages and no call backs pretty sad.

Wont do manual readings when requested to verify that the system is correct. Basically, take it on faith that it works because they say it does.

I bought solar panels in 2017 and my bill went down to 30 dollars a month in the summer. Since then it's like I don't even have them. They will not check my meter for faults, they blame my home and or my equipment. I've spoken to the solar company and they tell me that this month alone, I have already produced 1000kwh and the month is only half over. Not to mention since they have been installed I have produced 85000kwh but the electric company only shows 42000kwh.someone is lying.lhave a pretty good idea which one.CROOKS!

After my parents died I went in to change everything into my name and pay the bill ahead of time. I spent about two hours in the office switching everything over to my name, setting up auto pay and changing the billing address to my information. It’s been 5 months and about a dozen phone calls and all the information I updated is still incorrect. Have not received a single bill in the mail when I called a couple weeks ago my phone number was still wrong and auto pay is still wrong

We were afforded the opportunity to meet with Ken Manes with an issue we had with a tree growing through wires. First off, we made a call, second the call was returned the same day. When Mr.Ken Manes showed up he was very informative, and polite. His Customer Service was, and is to be commended. We are at 1125 Lynn Street and he was patient as he listened to my dad with his concerns in regards to trees, and the wires. I personally was so impressed with his calm demeanor, and top notch customer service. This is a very professional and knowledgeable staff member. We thank you for his service.

Charging a flat fee of $300 for new membership is insanity! I assume they charge so much because they own a monopoly on the electric services and people have no choice? Laclede electric should be ashamed! Maybe if there employees didn’t make $50/hour they could discount the fees on the families that are just trying to get by.

Always reluctant to give reviews but I have found Laclede Electric to be very responsive with issues/needs on my property since buying it a couple years ago.
