Marinella quality of ties is second to none - both materials and craftsmanship. I specifically find the width to be perfect, classic one. We were lucky enough to observe how the job is done in the Burlington Arcade store, which was a remarkable experience. Availability of designs in the store is impressive. For many years I am convinced that Marinella provides considerably higher value for money compared to other high-end brands.

N.B. Negative reviews for this store are mostly associated with online orders and their UK tax implications, so could be misleading for offline customers in London. Prices in store are higher than online, which is reasonable.

I have more than 100 Marinella ties. I have to write this review given I see quite of few comments that randomly put one star just because they don’t know the HMRC rules on import / export

Worst service ever , I’ve bought a tie on line and they asked me to pay customs on top of the price .
With shop in uk you supposed to don’t charge customs to the client.They don’t want to refund my money unless I pay 38£ customs for tie never received.

E. Marinella in the Burlington Arcade are simply superb. They have quickly become the go-to store for luxury ties and scarves for myself and my wife. The beautiful materials and craftsmanship are second to none, with a range of colours and styles to suit every occasion and wardrobe. The sartorial advice from the knowledgable and friendly staff is very tasteful, and they really make the experience relaxed and welcoming. They are very passionate about the brand and its heritage and with good reason - Italian accessories at their very best!

Note that when buying online and ordering to the UK, there is an additional customs and imports duty which must be paid prior to the item being delivered. For me this fee was one third of the value of the item extra, and this must be paid via the courier i.e. DHL before delivery can proceed.

E Marinella do not tell you how much this fee is, as it varies from item to item.

Should you decide after paying for the item that the customs fee is extortionate - and therefore wish to return it, E Marinella will not give you a full refund. They will instead deduct the customs and import duty fee from your refund payment!

I believe the same it true for all other returns (i.e. item not quite right, wrong size etc).

The brand and products are exceptional with beautiful craftsmanship. This review is for the particular store, which has a bizarre staff. Really strange setup where the sales associates act like they’re regal historians. They have this weird spiel where one of them will show you an item and the other one chimes in with his opinion in a fake surprise manner that it’s gorgeous and really good to buy. Really strange salesmanship. They also butcher the experience of shopping at E.Marinella by constantly trying to push more sales. Often they’ll push the less desirable colours, for example you’ll tell them navy and they’ll whip out the brown trying to convince you it’s the best to buy. The staff and the store are not befitting the brand, a shame as the stores in Italy are a joy
