I seem to have the same problem as many other customers. This guy came out and claimed to diagnose my oven’s problem. He said the part would be in the following week. That was 6 weeks ago! I have called almost daily for the last two weeks and left a voicemail each time. He has not responded but gladly took my money. He’s going to do this to the wrong customer one day and the result won’t be pleasant. Don’t use A-town appliance unless you’re in the market to lose time, money, and trust.

My washing machine broke and I called A-Town Appliance Repair around 9 AM and Steven was able to come by that afternoon.

He was very friendly, professional and tidy. He was able to replace a part and have my washing machine fixed hours sooner than I anticipated.

Their fees were very reasonable, especially with their quick service and great communication.

Great service and will definitely use them again in the future!

He came by to fix my fridge. Worked for less than a week. I called him because my house flooded due to the fridge…. No answer and reply to texts or calls. BE AWARE…. This is a recurring thing for this guy. He had to rename his company due to this in the past. Formerly “Appliance Pro”. Better Business Bureau does NOT support this guy!

I called several appliance repair companies and no one would answer the phone. Steven answered immediately and knew exactly what the issue was when I explained it to him over the phone. He came out and fixed out washer with no issues and did not charge us an arm and a leg like other companies. He is super nice and I recommend him! Save your money and call Steven! 🙂

A-Town Appliance Service is the best and most reliable repair company we have ever used in Abilene. Steven is very efficient, friendly and knows what he is doing. I’ll never use anyone but A-Town for appliance repair.

Sears shafted me by charging full price in advance for a washing machine repair, then ghosted me for a month. At my wits end, I reached out to A-Town Appliance - Steve showed up that very day and diagnosed the issue with the washer, which was completely different from what Sears had claimed. Turned out it was a control board issue, not the components themselves. Steve returned the next day and replaced the bad board and everything was good as new. The prompt, professional and effective service was a breath of fresh air after dealing with Sears. Will be calling him for all my appliance woes in the future!

Owner does not back up what he is advertising and is only looking to make a quick buck.

I contacted Abilene Appliance Pros on 3/18/23 and left a voicemail for my refrigerator not holding the correct temperature. He returned my call the next day and set an appointment to come look at it on 3/21/23. He said it sounds like the refrigerator needs updated and it is a common problem. He showed up and was professional, did the update in 5 mins, looked over the refrigerator and said everything looked good. I was charged $95 and was told there was a 90 day warranty and to let him know if there were anymore problems. The next day the refrigerator was still not working but I wanted to give it a couple days just to be sure. After 5 days I called back and went to voicemail. I left a message explaining it was still it working. I never received a call back. I tried again several times leaving voicemails and I also sent a text with no response. I then sent a text from my wife’s phone which he responded to within an hour. I said my refrigerator would not stay cold and he said he could come look the next day 4/11/23 at 3pm. I confirmed this would work and he said he had me down for that time and just needed the address. After giving the address he will no longer respond and did not show up the next day like he said. Once this happened I looked on the Better Business Bureau and several people have had the same issue. The owner also responds to the negative reviews and says to email them but he doesn't respond to that either.

We had a great experience with this company. Steve was polite and professional on the phone and when working in our home. He was able to diagnose the problem with our dishwasher quickly, showed up on time, and completed the repair efficiently. He left the workspace clean and was easy to communicate with throughout. Highly recommend!
