My best experiences and memories in the last 3 years are related to Backcountry Romania. It is a perfect combination of fun, new friends, adrenaline, learning about yourself, going beyond limits, traveling and sightseeing. And above all, Tibanu is the best guide you can get: nice, patient, funny, always in a good mood, an excellent rider and teacher. I would say that anyone who can and likes to ride a bike should have an experience with Backcountry Romania. Regardless if you are single or not, if you have kids, if you are young or not so young, if you are an experienced rider or a beginner, try this! But keep in mind that you can get addicted 🙂

For a memorable experience, I highly recommend Backcountry Romania.
Everything was organized in detail by Lucian, who was our guide and teacher during these two days of pedaling through the forest and mountains.
We spent wonderful days, with spectacular landscapes and a feeling of freedom that you rarely find.

It's adrenaline, fun, chill, amazement, exercise all packed by some great hosts. We have to go at least once a year on a tour with these guys. They're awesome. Not just for the e-bikes they provide but also for the locations they pick, the views, the food, everything.
Also if you think you can't handle the pedalling, think again. That's the beauty of riding an electric bike, you can pick your own difficulty level. It's up to you (and your physical condition) if you want to abuse the battery and let the bike do all the work or save it and make the run a bit more challenging.
Definitely a must try experience.

Cand zici Backcountry, te gandesti la 4 lucuri: aventura, adrenalina, distractie si oameni faini. Iar Tibanu este un foarte bun ghid si mentor, daca nu stii sa te dai cu bicicleta normala/e-bike-ul te ajuta sa inveti intr-o zi, ba chiar vei fi in stare sa abordezi si trasee tehnice de la prima tura 🙂 . Dupa ce-mi pierdusem interesul de a mai face ture de mtb cu o bicicleta normala, datorita efortului pe care il depuneam pentru a ajunge in locuri faine, la invitatia lui Tibanu de a incerca un e-bike ( fiind pentru prima data cand ma urcam pe asa ceva in anul 2018 ), totul s-a schimbat. Turele devenind o placere alaturi de Tibanu, deoarece ne-a dus pe trasee frumoase si unele chiar pline de istorie, cu abosulut tot ce-ti doresti de la o tura.... peisaje, coborari tehnice si multa voie buna, fix pe placul meu. Recomand tuturor sa urmareasca turele organizate de Backcountry Romania si sa participe la ele .
