After waiting a week for repairman to come. He concluded my Ge profile fridge just needed a new circuit board to repair the following issues
1) all digital lights were out
2) not making ice
3) not dispersing water
Another week went by and on 10/24 he arrived with the new circuit board and nes water filter.
Within 20 minutes everything was installed. He told me everything worked and left.
As directed by GE once you replace filter you are supposed to purge the water line. I pushed the water dispenser and nothing came out. I immediately called the office to se if repairman could come back. I was told that he could not and had to submit another ticket. When I tried yo explain Donna got nasty and told me there was nothing she vould do.
I then realized thst the lights still did not work and now I had the alarm on fridge going off. I recalled the office twice to see if they had a solution to shutting off alarm without just unplugging outlet. I never received a call back.
So bottom line, not only was nothing repaired but now had an extra issue of alarm hoing off. They take no accountability and no sense of urgency. Their Reviews are Horrible. Stay away. PS Donna should not be taking calls she is very unprofessional.

Is there an opportunity to leave 0 stars? This company was contracted through warranty to fix a fridge. They diagnosed the repair via phone, ordered parts, called ahead, and showed up on time all seemed good at first, but after an hour of wrestling with the refrigerator, they needed a different part and said they would have to order it. Over a month later and a couple of attempts to reach out to them where they ghosted me, I've come to the conclusion that they have no intention of making the warranty repair. The warranty manager says they have reported the repair completed, so they presumably got paid for it and just walked and ghosted me. It may be an anomaly, but the other reviews suggest not. If this company says they are going to have to order new parts, then don't believe them, and call the warranty manager the day they say they have to order new parts.

I am surprised by the comments on here because we had an opposite experience with Donna and Central Appliance through our home warranty! It was the home warranty company delaying the ordering of parts, and Donna repeatedly followed up with them to resolve. We are so grateful for the completion of the repair and a job well done. They were also the only repair company to identify what was wrong with our BlueStar refrigerator after another repair company made a repair that did not work. Thank you so much, Donna!

i cannot say enough great things about this company. They have been incredibly responsive. Over the last 6 months, I've had problems with both my dishwasher and my freezer. They were out numerous times because of the freezer - numerous issues surfaced and Lyle just kept coming out to do the repair. In the end, my freezer needed a very expensive part and they stayed on top of the ordering. Jake came out last week and installed the part and I'm pleased to say that all my appliances are working (hope I don't jinx myself!!). Lyle and Jake (the owner) are just awesome. Donna, Jake's wife, is absolutely terrific. She is great about managing the schedule and setting up appointments in a realistic manner so as not to disappoint. I cannot even understand any bad review of this company.
I would recommend Central Appliance to anybody that is in need of a repair. They are absolutely fantastic - responsive, courteous, efficient and effective.

Thank you!!

Horrible! Run! They were assigned by my home warranty company. They did not fix the issue and reported fixed. They got scheduled again to come and fix. They never showed up. Called and left many messages and they told home warranty company that tried to reach me many times. No missed calls from them. Then they said to home warranty company that they will call me at 12 noon. No call again that day. Unbelievable!

The day before Thanksgiving, I called Central Appliance Parts to schedule an appointment to have our oven looked at as it was not working correctly. The Monday after Thanksgiving, Jake, a repairman from the company, diagnosed the problem and said the repair would be just over $400. I paid the $80 service fee and told him I would consider my options. He told me that I could speak with Donna in the office later that day if I decided to move forward with the repair, which ultimately, I did. Donna told me it would take a day or two for the part to come in. I called her back three days later as I hadn't heard anything. She told me the part wasn't in yet. I asked why I hadn't been updated on the status and she said they don't call until the part comes in. I called again the following Monday (now 7 days after the original call). Donna told me the part still hadn't arrived but was expected that day or the next day. I did not hear from her, so I called again three days later, and spoke with Margaret. She told me that Donna wasn't in and she wasn't familiar with the situation but she would look into it. She called me back an hour later and said she had the part. The repair was then scheduled for the next day. From a customer's perspective, updates on the status of a part when it has been much longer than I was told it would be seems like a reasonable request. However, Donna repeatedly seemed annoyed that I called back every few days after being told it should only take a day or two for the part to arrive. In addition, when Jake showed up to make the repair, he reeked of cigarette smoke. For all of these reasons, I would not recommend doing business with this company. Margaret was the only person who seemed concerned about providing appropriate customer service. Ed

I would not recommend Central Appliance for service. Jake, the serviceman, was apathetic and didn't want to listen to what was wrong with my Wolf range. The first time he came out he did nothing because he told me there was nothing wrong. He came out a second time after a lengthy wait time of 3 weeks because they were "waiting for a part". Basically, they didn't call me when the part came in and waited for me to call them. Jake still had no interest in finding out what the problem was but instead replaced the thermostat. The oven is still not working properly. I would not have them out here again. Jake is rude and really doesn't care about fixing the problem. Also, hard to get past the intense cigarette smell. Try Northeastern Appliance!

It is over 3 weeks and I am still waiting for a call about the $500 Washer that I bought. It does not work well and I have had NO satisfaction. All I got is a lemon and dozens of phone calls with no results. I am totally disgusted with this entire situation! PS- do you think that it is good business to tell a customer that has has her appliance for one week to call repair? ( I did call and repair did not come) DO you think that it is good business to not return phone calls and help your 10 year+ client get some satisfaction? The owner was supposed to call and I suppose he is still in surgery. Donna had too many calls to talk to me and Margaret was supposed to follow up today. Thank you one and all. $500 and I have a lemon to show for it + hours on the phone.
Update 3/25/16- Still no word from them so I contacted the BBB and Central Appliance responded with lies as to what transpired and what I told them. e.g. They said that I refused to contact service and I did. In fact I had an e email from Maytag confirming the day and time of the service call. Unfortunately, Maytag did not show up. This does demonstrate their inability to know truth from lies. My machine is still not working well and do not know what else to do. All said, I would not recommend a company that does not honor a customers complaints and then goes further to make the customer a liar. Does anyone really think that I am going through hours of writing to everyone that I can think of if I am making this horrid story up? All of this when they sent the wrong machine in the first place.
