The representative who answered the phone said my needed HVAC blower motor part was $290, which I would have gladly paid. However, it was supposedly a special order that would take up to two weeks. Given that it's almost 100 degrees outside I asked him for the part number to see if I could find it more quickly. He refused, stating "we don't give out part numbers". This is a company with ZERO compassion for a family living in the summer heat!

Great experience. Needed a simple dryer part, a thermal fuse, they were the ONLY ones in the south KC area that had it in stock. Called first, easy drive there, got the part in less than a minute, and was on my way. Clerk was great. Nice facility, too.

Probably one of the better appliance parts distributors, with a no frills and thrills kinda feel. Order your stuff and get on with your day. Great for DIYers, Appliance Repair Companies and property maintenance personnel. I Really don’t like seeking for parts outside of Dey Distributing.

Refuse to help by giving part numbers for fear of people NOT purchasing from their store when they don't even have the part in STOCK. I'd buy the part from them in a heartbeat if they weren't being ignorant of people's needs. But I've had problems with these people before and this comes as no surprise. A $4 (that weights less than 1 oz) cost $6 to ship because they won't give out a part number. Bad customer service and bad business practice.

Poor communication. I called to talk about my washing machine issue and clerk was kind over the phone. I took the part to the shop and the clerk wouldn't come move from his stool to look at the part. He just wanted the part number. I asked him if he was going to look at it and he said no, I don't do that. He wants a part number. Not sure why he couldn't have told me that over the phone.

Solid experience, had my part in stock.. Fixed my dryer for $35! Two guys behind the counter were really helpful cross-referencing part numbers.. When something else breaks around the house, their phone will ring!

I needed a new billow for my off brand front load was machine. It's an Amana. Literally all the parts stores I called kept telling me they could order one. But Dey had it in stock! For a family of 5 the significance of finding one in stock was extremely important. I had originally called the Lenexa branch, and when the guy found I was coming from Grandview, he referred me to the Lee's Summit location. Customer Service was top notch! The guys were so helpful. Next time I need a part Dey Distributing will be my first and only call.
