I love my bike. I love how comfortable the ride is. I live in Denver and love to join the weekly bicycle rides. I have been looking forward to having fun on the ride with my ebike. It did not disappoint. Since it was my first ride on the bike I wasn't sure how the battery would perform. It worked great. Before the ride I used the battery very little. On the ride I used the battery the whole way. I put 28 miles on it and only drop the battery 20%. I went for a ride this morning planning on using the battery the whole time. Didn't work out that way. This bike is so easy to pedal that I love pedaling just as much as using the battery. So far in one week I have put on 48miles and want to go ride for some more. I love how tidy the wiring is. I love my bike. Thank you Electric Bike Company for building an awesome bike for me to ride! My wife and I were unsure about purchasing an ebike. The bike has exceeded our expectations and we are looking to purchase another bike soon from Electric Bike Company.

Update:
After waiting over 2 1/2 months the e-bike finally arrived. The shipping container it was shipped in was completely destroyed. Luckily the bike was in good condition. The bike itself is very nice. It is made well and looks and rides great. I am adding 1 star for the quality and ride.

Ordered an e-bike from EBC in April and was told 4-5 week delivery. We are still waiting! Upon checking the order status online, the est completion date continually changes. I have called the factory twice and got two different stories and each one said another two weeks. The latest est. completion date listed was June 11th which was 8 days ago and still no notification of completion. Very disappointed with EBC and at this point I would not recommend them.

This company is an absolute scam. They take your money and then lie about when your order will be ready.

I was originally told my bike would be ready in 3 weeks, and here I am nearly 3 months later with no bike. To make matters worse, they don’t even have the parts to build it!

I’ve tried calling multiple times, waiting on hold for close to an hour each time, just to get conflicting information. First, I was told the bike was done, then I find it’s not only NOT done, but they don’t even have the parts to build it. No one at Electric Bike Company ever contacted me once about delays or issues - every time I wanted an update, I had to chase them down.

This company’s customer service is a joke. They bombard you with marketing emails and texts, but when it comes to actually delivering on their promises, they fall flat. I’m canceling my order and contacting my credit card company to dispute the charges. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company.

I'm very sorry to have to leave a negative review, but unfortunately Electric Bike Company has continually failed to provide good and timely service.

First, the good: I like the way the bike looks, and it operates fairly well.

But everything else has been mediocre at best. I don't live in California, so I ordered the bike online back in May with promised delivery in six weeks. It ended up taking three months. Not the end of the world, but communication was very sparse throughout the process (foreshadowing!).

The itself bike arrived well packaged and in good condition. However, two issues were immediately apparent: the charger did not work correctly, and they did not send the accessories I ordered.

I tried to call the company to get it sorted out, but nobody picked up, so I left a message. Didn't hear back for a few days. Called again later, nope. Tried to email, still nothing. Sent a message on Facebook and only received an automated response. Tried emailing specific people, heard back from one, but the person said I'd have to send in the bad charger first. No help on the accessories.

While they might seem to be short on staff to help existing customers, they clearly are able to devote plenty of attention to marketing. While I was waiting on a response, the company would still send out very elaborate marketing emails Every. Single. Day.

Finally, almost a month later, I managed to catch one person who was actually able to help, so thank you to Sravani. I did get a new charger, and it was the upgraded model which was nice. However, I am unfortunately still waiting on the accessories.

Sadly, I had to file a dispute with my credit card company, as I have run out of patience on paying for accessories I ordered that never seem to show up.

I like what EBC is doing building custom bikes in the US, so it is very unfortunate that the company as a whole doesn't have their stuff together. The daily marketing emails sent out while calls go unanswered just shows contempt for people once they have your money. Based on the continued failure to provide the most basic of customer service, I cannot recommend buying a bike from this company.

Nothing like sinking $3000 into a bike and not know if you'll actually get it. It is now a month past my original delivery date and no bike. I have reached out via email asking for an update and I have not received a response...but I receive marketing emails daily. I ordered the bike after I rented one in Acadia and took advantage of a purchase program offered by the rental company. I will be letting them know about the poor customer service and delays? in delivery, as this damages the rental company's reputation, too. Honestly, at this point I don't even know if I should expect to get the bike. Cannot recommend.

My experience has been a pretty weird one with EBC. After placing my order I had to email them to request an invoice. No details of the shipping were ever relayed and the bike just arrived on my front porch one random day. There were pieces missing from my order, and parts on the bike holding the LCD screen were broken. I emailed to get them replaced, but I haven’t gotten anything in the mail or any shipping notices.

The bike being advertised as ready to ride out of the box is inaccurate. On my first ride, the tire fell off the wheel but the inner tube didn’t pop. It was odd. I had to call and figure out how to tighten the gear shifter because the gears would not shift initially. I eventually got everything working after a couple hours of chatting and tinkering with the bike.

While EBC is responsive via chat, the whole experience has been lengthy and frustrating. The actual bike is a good product but the customer experience is the reason for the 1 star. Updating and downgrading from 3 to 1 star because I had to chat them again to try and get the parts that were missing. They don’t send confirmation emails and I’m still missing pieces.

Buy a bike from another company if you want to get good service and the product you actually order.

I just received my custom model S. The browntires I originally ordered were on back order but instead of making me wait for the whole bike they shipped it with black and will be sending me browns when in stock. Smoothest issue resolution ever! Their support team is prompt and efficient. And the bike is absolutely beautiful!!!! I fell in love with the electric bike company bikes after renting one to ride in Acadia national park, it is so comfy! I have tried 3 other brands of ebike and EBC is far superior when it comes to comfort while riding! 11 outta 10 highly recommend.
