We went to Jax today in Fort Collins because we needed the fast charger for our Rivian-- located in the back parking lot.
My husband got it to work after awhile.
We went in to look around.

There are multiple buildings. A very large Carhart section, a rope section, camo and tactical gear. I tried on some flex women's pants with multiple pockets. I almost purchased them. But at $95 it's a steep price especially for someone without a job right now. And I feel like I wanted more of a selection of colors and styles in stretchy women's pants with multiple pockets. Not wimpy women's pants though.

There were multiple sales associates throughout the store areas. I was asked many times if I needed help. And when I did need help, someone helped me right away.
The selection of everything was awesome.
Too expensive for my budget right now.

I wanted to give Keith from the footwear department a shoutout.
I was in town visiting and had one of my leather laces pop. It was the only pair of shoes I had on the trip. I looked all over the place to find a replacement pair but didn’t have any luck. When I stoped at JAX, Keith helped me look through their selection and when we saw that there were none in stock, he called the other store to check for me. They didn’t have any either but then Keith also called a few stores that he could think of that I didn’t know about. None of them had leather laces I cause use but I was really impressed with the customer service!
While JAX didn’t have what I was looking for, at the end of the day, the customer service tells you everything you need to know about this store. Everyone was very helpful and very friendly.

I love shopping here. So many great brands and I like to support local businesses. However, one employee told me Jax doesn't pay their employees enough so she has to work 3 jobs to pay her bills. I don't think I can support a business that doesn't respect their employees enough to pay them a descent salary.

Recently, Logan in the hunting department was exceptionally knowledgeable in the local laws and had great recommendations!

Wish staff was even a LITTLE knowledgeable about gun laws considering they have an entire gun department. I was told I could not purchase a handgun with an out-of-state ID. In the state of Colorado, you may purchase a handgun OR rifle with an out-of-state ID if you can provide a city utility bill (Fort Collins Utility Bill) so long as your name that matches your ID. I told the gentleman behind the counter this and he wouldn’t even look it up to see if I was right. Don’t believe me? Head to USA Liberty Arms on the other side of town. They’ll take care of you; with or without in-state ID so long as you have a city.
