I recently found Steve, a residential electrician from Peterkin Electric in Orange CA and have his number saved on my speed dial. So far he's changed out all my electrical outlets and light switches to the style I wanted, installed two exhaust fans, a range hood and replaced my old florescent kitchen lights with track lighting. I've called for everything from emergency electrical repairs to not so urgent upgrades. He's professional, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I used this commercial electrical contractor to wire the new storage facility that I integrated into my business in Orange. Peterkin Electric were extremely punctual. I am glad I chose this licensed electrician for my commercial needs. I have used them twice for regular residential electric repairs in my home and I decided to trust them with my business needs too. They did the full electrical wiring and lighting design work and made the whole electrical installation in the storage unit work better than i imagined. Peterkin Electric is an outstanding electrical contractor company who take great pride in delivering exceptional quality electrical work. Their residential electricians have skillfully installed more than 100 electrical openings (receptacles, switches, lights, can lights, washer/dryer ect.), conduits and thousands of feet of electrical wiring in my house. The work was done quickly, looks fantastic and passed rough inspection on the first try. They are professional, knowledgeable and pay attention to the smallest details. They took time to understand my electrical needs and made intelligent recommendations that I would have never thought of. I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for an exceptional quality yet reasonably priced electrical contractor for new construction and general electrical and lighting.

Peterkin Electric hung a couple of very big expensive light fixtures for us and they did an awesome job. They were able to come at my first convenient time window - so no long wait time. The electrician was quick and on time and he hooked up the fixtures with no trouble. And they stuck with the initial quote they gave me which was very reasonable. We highly recommend!

Steve at Peterkin came out and gave us a whole home automation service. It's amazing, I just wonder why we didn't call Peterkin Electric earlier. Steve did a great job. He was professional, had a great attitude, worked quickly and was reasonably priced. We have found our electrician!

I have hired Peterkin Electric many times in their capacity as both a residential electrician as well as a commercial electrical contractor over the past few years since I moved to Orange. I have always been impressed by the level of quality care and consideration I have received. Most recently I hired Peterkin to run electrical wiring, cable and phone lines from my home's main box to a makeshift office I had converted from a shed in my backyard (a distance of about 60'). As usual, I requested Steve and he gave me a very fair estimate. They did the work up to code and even when they ran into a snag burying the wires, they never charged me extra. Over the years I have used their licensed electricians for everything from installing interior lighting fixtures to exterior landscape lighting troubleshooting and when I needed an emergency electrician to an audio visual consultant. They always honor their word and their electrical work is always top notch. I will continue to use them for all of my future electrical needs and recommend them highly to others.
