FOLLOW UP:
I noticed the owner replied to this review claiming to “make things right” but this is not true and is the reason I did not adjust my original review. They said they would have an electrician of their own fix their mistake at no cost to me however that electrician never showed up and in the heat of summer I contacted an outside company. They also never returned to install the correct grille on the outside of the unit which they claimed they would to “make things right”. These claims that they have made things right for me are inaccurate and just another reason I would not recommend this company on any day of the year.

What a nightmare Prisco Appliance has caused for me. I contacted them in March to replace my AC after a recommendation from my building management. I couldn’t get a response from them and had to call multiple times before finally visiting the store April 1st. Bought a new AC and paid in full for delivery and installation and was told it would be 3 weeks. After a month, I hadn’t heard anything so I called and the new AC was nowhere to be found. They recommended I switch to a different model that was “the same” as the one I had ordered and could be delivered right away. When it showed up, it did not fit my wall sleeve and had a different electrical connection. They left and I lived with an empty hole in my wall for about a week. They tried to cut corners and install the new AC in the old sleeve even after I specified I wanted the entire thing replaced. Now I had to hire another company to install a new sleeve and contact an electrician to change my circuit all at my own expense. They did supply the new sleeve for the smaller unit however, they did not supply the new grille so I am forced to use the old one that does not fit and over hangs.

To summarize, Prisco is by far the worst customer service I have ever encountered and I will be speaking with the management office at my condo complex to ensure they are not recommending them to anyone else that lives here as I wouldn’t want anyone to experience this level of stress and frustration I’ve had for 3 months. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

We were in need of a fridge and a stove, we shopped around and Prisco Appliances & Electronics on Tarrytown Road in White Plains had by far the best prices. Allison at Prisco was a pleasure. Allison was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Allison you ROCK! We will certainly return to Prisco in White Plains for any future purchases. Thank you Allison!

Every aspect of shopping for appliances for my kitchen remodel was stress-free. I especially appreciated that my appliances were held until we reached the point at which installation was happening, which was several month from date of purchase. We needed to change the delivery date and were very readily accommodated. Emails and phone calls were immediately responded to by our sales person, Keith Preston. I have already recommended Prisco to friends, and will continue to do so.

I just had a very satisfying experience with Tanya Green, who is in-charge of service at Prisco Home Appliance Center located in White Plains, NY. I purchased a 10,000 BTU wall A/C which their delivery men installed. Within a few days there were issues with the power button and a buzzing noise coming from the back of the unit. I contacted the store and was told to speak with Tanya. I explained the issues and Tanya told me not to worry....she would get right on it and she did. She spoke to ownership and told them they needed to replace the unit. She called me as soon as the new unit arrived. We set up a delivery date (8/7) and i now have my new unit and it's working fine.
Tanya was extremely personable, friendly and efficient and gave me the confidence I would not be jerked around. She wanted me to be a happy and satisfied customer.......which i am.

Prisco has the best services! We ordered six appliances for two different locations. Prisco managed to do the delivery, installation, and haul-away all together. The entire process was smooth and saved us so much time. Highly recommended.

Two years ago I purchased an LG dual washer/ dryer. Also, at this time I purchased a five year service contract. Towards the end of May, the lights on my control panel started to flicker and then some went out. My son went to Prisco in person and told them about the problem, they said they would contact us. I waited a week. No one contacted us. I went in, I got the same e story. I went in again the following week at which time they drew up another bill of sale, this one for May 31 of this year. This way they said I could get service from LG directly. That didn’t happen. It took two more trips by me to finally get in touch with the person, Tanya Green. Tanya followed up with me every time she said she would trying to resolve this problem. She then took another route and had my machine replaced. She went above and beyond what anybody else did in that store. Everybody on that main floor promised me the world and did nothing. As far as I’m concerned Tanya is an asset that Prisco should be made aware of. This past Saturday I got my new machine and it works beautifully! Thank you Tanya for all your help, I really don’t miss my weekly visits to Prisco!!

Last Friday, we returned home from vacation and attempted to turn on our AC - nothing! Tried everything- checked circuit breaker, tested outlet, tried another outlet, replaced remote batteries. Still nothing. Decided unit simply “died.” Called Prisco Appliances and found my self in the extremely capable and professional hands of Allie the Grill Girl. She took me through the process quickly explaining it step by step answering all my questions. Within 15 minutes we had purchased a replacement Friedrich AC to be delivered on Wednesday. On Saturday morning, our son called and I filled him in on what had happened. He’s an Engineer so he took me step-by-step through what I had done. When I told him that I changed the remote batteries, he asked where they came from( open package in junk drawer) and he told me to get FRESH batteries! I ran out to the local hardware store, and replaced the batteries. Lo and behold the AC sprang to life - a miracle!
Called Prisco and spoke with Allie the Grill Girl explaining that we needed to cancel our order. Allie was cool/calm/collected telling me that it wasn’t a problem. She took some basic info and quickly cancelled our order. Allie couldn’t have been nicer.
So, Allie is a tremendous asset on the Prisco Team.
Me, not so much. I guess at 82 I can be forgiven for a “Brain Cramp” now and then.
