Terrible service came to my house had to fix exhaust fan never returned was covered through my insurance company indicated that needs more power, also never came back to fix my ceiling fan took it apart terrible service

Very happy with their service! after calling home warranty company the first guy they sent out took three weeks to get a response from the warranty company, which The repair was denied due to the way The first electrician wrote it up. we requested a second opinion Richard Donaldson electric came out confirm the issue We were having with the warranty company. the following day they did the repairs.

No communication ! No return phone calls. Have been waiting on them to repair my whole house fan since July 24th . They have been out twice. Here for under 10min. Both times -same story. We need to order a part. That’s to be expected given our current times. I can also respect delayed shipping times as well. But -some type of communication on that would go a long way. Each visit has been 3wks apart and it takes about a week and a half to get any type of response. Moving on. Patience ran out after 2 months of nothing.

I have a home warranty and they assigned a different electrician to come in and repair the lack of power to 2 bedrooms and the hallway. After 2 visits in 2 weeks and no luck, the home warranty place finally called Richard Donaldson Electric. Seriously, these guys were here for maybe 10 minutes and they found the issue, repaired it and were gone. We were so happy to have electricity again after 24 days. These guys are professional. They are able to fix more than a breaker or plug. I'm calling them first next time

I left a voicemail to the office phone number which is required to call in order to make an appointment. They replied to my text message the next business day. I like the timely matter they took to get back to me. The customer service via phone should be improved. It took several calls to reach out to them on the same business day. But I did like the honesty and how you get fit into their schedule.

Had a horrible experience with this company. We went through our home warranty company and were assigned Donaldson Richards Electric out of Lemoore. The electrician came out to our house on Aug 16 (2016) and diagnosed that our whole house fan needed a new motor, the old one had burned out (which is exactly what we assumed.) The fan has worked to cool our house perfectly over the past ten years. We NEVER heard from the company once during the two month duration they said it took to order the motor. I had to call them every few weeks to check on the order. Every time, I was told they would call me back and never did- horrible customer service. Finally, after my 4th phone call. They said the part would be in the next day, but again they never called me to set up an appt. I had to call my home warranty company so that they could call Donaldson Richard and set up an appt. On the day of installation, the dispatch called me to say I would need to remove the trim around the fan and provide them with a ladder! Seriously!? What servicemen doesn't travel with a ladder? I called my dad to help/ he took off work to rush home, rip off the trim and meet the serviceman. The serviceman never showed! When my dad called to ask him where he was, he said "My boss said not to do the job because we aren't going to get paid for it." So... after calling my home warranty company and them calling Richard Donaldson- the guy says the whole house fan needs to be moved to an interior wall because its exposed to the elements and will burn out again. Hello!? It's a whole house fan, they are designed to be on an outside wall and pull cool air in! He just wants the extra money! The fan has operated perfectly on that spot for over 10 years! I told my home warranty company that I'd rather just get a quote and go elsewhere- "
Let's see if he can do that on a timely manner. I already paid him $70 to do nothing.

This gentlemen runs a fantastic company! We had two different electricians come before him to do the job but they were dishonest about their products as well as their pricing. Richard is not only very capable, but he is honest, reliable, and trustworthy. I will be using him for all future electric work!

We had 3 light switches that were not working and went through our home warranty. Mr. Donaldson came out and took care of all 3. He was fast, efficient and professional. I would use him again, and plan on it.
