Very kind!! He was thorough with his troubleshooting. He gave some good feedback regarding the issue with our washer. Would recommend!!!

The gentlemen were great, very helpful and efficient. They went above and beyond after replacing icemaker door, the older gentleman with a cane leveled my stove that was not level from another company install when I mentioned that the company who installed would be out when in the area. He was so nice to do it and was really appreciated! Both great guys!

We have new Bosch 800 Series dishwasher (6 months old and under warranty). Something malfunctioned, causing an overflow from the dishwasher which flooded the kitchen floor. Dalton was the tech who came out to identify and fix the problem. There were a couple of error messages that the washer was displaying which somewhat complicated the effort to isolate the problem, but Dalton was very diligent in identifying and proceeding with the repair. He did a great job and everything is working perfectly now.

One thing that really struck me was his extreme courtesy. Every time he answered a question, he responded with a "Yes sir" and "No sir". Twice during his repair effort he had to reach out to others by phone. One call went to someone back at his office to see if they had a replacement part in stock, at which time I heard him answer several questions, always responding "Yes Sir" and "No Sir". On another call to Bosch's professional support line, the same thing happened multiple times during that call. Wow. You never hear that in today's conversations. After he left, I wished that I had asked him if his father was in the military, which might have instilled in Dalton, the kind of respect and decorum he displayed.

On a side note, I have been using Rick's Appliance Service since 1970, when they were a fairly new repair service (over the years, on 3 different homes and 1 rental property). I have never had a negative experience and they have always been extremely competent, no matter who came out to do a repair. I think the longevity of that type of experience speaks volumes about their commitment to hiring the best technicians or being committed to consistent training in skill sets.

When I called I gave my microwave brand and issue being that the display and touchpad were going out and that it was a built-in microwave I didn't want to bother with taking out on my own. I was given an appointment the following week for the supposed GE/Microwave tech's first availability. The tech came right on time, tested a few issues that we had already checked (door latch?! ) and then googled the manual for 20 minutes before telling us it would likely be more expensive to repair than fix and charged us $107 service call. He did not even take the unit out of the built-in, or investigate further, or even give a repair quote. I assume most people, like us, have googled an issue before calling a professional. Why would they even send someone out for this? We feel a little bit scammed and will use a different service in the future. Their phone screener should do a better job at triaging calls. 2 stars just because they came at the beginning of the service window and we didn't have to miss much work.

The technician quickly found the problem & fixed the dishwasher. It has been working GREAT! Rick’s Appliance Services is the company to quickly make a repair date, have a qualified technician to perform the appliance repair & the part was on the vehicle to make the repair, NO going back to the shop for a part. Will call them again!
