I needed to browse options for a washer/dryer stack (laundry center) for delivery to a condo in downtown Orlando and came here after deciding, since they're located downtown, they must have experience with delivering up and down elevators and scheduling deliveries with condo management offices. After having visited a few scratch and dent warehouses around the city, including the Best Buy outlet towards Ocoee and a couple different spots in the strip malls along East Colonial, I found Southeast's new appliance prices to be comparable to most of those stores.

Greg, my salesperson, was genuine throughout our interaction. He applied no pressure and answered all of my questions patiently. He explained the total costs to me included their price for the appliance, a $100 delivery fee, and a $40 extra fee for delivering to home requiring stairs or elevator access. I found I was charged exactly as expected and the price included installation and relevant new fittings for the appliance to replace the old fittings in my home.

Delivery into condo units can sometimes be challenging in coordinating a schedule between the vendor and the condo unit management office. On the day of the delivery Southeast's delivery team made themselves accessible through text messages to me to work out when and where they had to be to check in with my condominium's management. They independently and politely worked with the management office and were all around bent on being helpful and made the entire delivery and installation process easy and gentle.

I definitely prefer the opportunity to shop with a local business so this entire experience was a nice surprise.

We went in for an "old school" washing machine and dryer set, we had a few in mind. We called and spoke to "Dan" and he was knowledgeable and very informative. We went in immediately and he was waiting for us. He showed us the ones we had researched and was fair in his information, he didn't try to sell us the most expensive unit- he sold us the one that was best for our family and our needs. As a former salesperson, I found this to be "old school" top notch customer service. When they delivered, the amazing service continued. They brought in our units, took out our old ones, even replacing hoses and water lines. Our laundry room was upstairs, and it was a HUGE help to have white glove delivery. They even started the first load for us. We are beyond happy and impresses with the service!

Customer service is hard to come by these days, but with Southeast Steel there is still hope! Our refrigerator died and we needed one asap. The problem, our current space was limited to a certain size. We shopped online and found one with Frigidaire but it would take 2 weeks! This is where the great customer service comes in…we contact Southeast Steel, get to talk with Chris ( by the way is our hero) and give him the model number, they don’t have it in stock, almost a failed call, but then Chris suggested he talk with his manager to see if they could pick it up at the Frigidaire warehouse and expedite this purchase and delivery! Wow! Really? That would be awesome! He’d call back after speaking with the manager, the manager approved, we made the purchase online no issues. One day later, Chris called they’ll be delivering it tomorrow!! Wow! Now that is customer service at its Best! Thank you Southeast Steel and Chris you Rock!

It was a quick and painless experience. I sent a chat on Saturday, Joe responded quickly. I told him what I wanted, he let me know it was available, I paid online, the installer reached out the next day and I had my new dishwasher in by 2:00 on Monday. Victor was my installer and he was professional, friendly, cleaned up after himself and even took a check! It was going to take about 10 days for me to get the same model from Lowe's or Home Depot and was going to cost a little bit more. Happy with my choice!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. I have been remodeling a townhouse in Winter Park while living out of state, and the process of choosing materials and identifying reliable vendors has been daunting. I decided to call Southeast Steel because I was hoping to get a more personalized service as compared to the "big box" stores. That turned out to be one of the best decisions I made in my entire remodeling saga. From the minute Craig answered the phone at Southeast Steel, I knew I was in good hands. He was extremely knowlegeable, helpful, and always prompt in his communications. He guided me to choose appliances I am completely happy with and that suit my space perfectly. Also, the delivery was prompt and on time. If you are in the market for appliances, I guarantee you will be in well served if you use Southeast Steel. 🙂
